A Storm of Swords and A Feast for Crows, spoilers for both

On the whole I quite liked the series and I'll read A Dance with Dragons when it comes out (Dany! Tyrion! Jon!).
IT IS A HUNDRED TIMES BETTER READING ABOUT SANSA SANS SANDOR. He reminds me of all those men who verbally harrassed me in my youth, and his scenes with Sansa annoy the hell out of me. And I do like Sansa, so it's wonderful to read her chapters in the last two books knowing that he will never appear. I plan on writing a sort of meta post on Sansa and Fanny Price and maybe some other people later - I need to do some rereading for it.

I love that Brienne is a warrior woman with an atypical warrior woman personality (introverted and sexually conservative). I love that she's determined to be a good knight in a world that seldom rewards goodness. Her chapters aren't full of plot, but I like her and Pod so much I don't care. The Brotherhood offered her the sword or the noose, right? So if she said sword she might live? I HOPE.

Joffrey dying pleased me, and that wedding feast made me hungry. Tommen is adorable. Olenna is awesome, and Margaery is interesting. Is there Margaery femslash, with Sansa or her handmaids?

After reading their POVs, I like Jaime more and Cersei less. I sympathize with the fact that she's a woman who wants power in a patriarchy, but she cares about almost nobody besides herself, and she thinks Septas "could do with a good raping." Genna Lannister, however, is made of win. Yay minor characters.

Petyr killed Lysa! After telling her that he only loved Catelyn! That was a good twist. And there was the Red Wedding, which was sad. Cat thinking about how Ned loved her hair!

Ah, I finished them so long ago (okay, two weeks isn't that long) that I don't know what to say. I know there's a theory that Lyanna and Rhaegar are Jon's parents, and it sounds plausible to me.

I want to know where the hell Rickon and Osha are.

I don't mind the Dorne chapters. Dislike the Ironborn except for Asha and the Reader.

Are Sam and Pyp a reference to Samwise and Pippin? I could see GRRM in the Shire. :D

I think that's it? If you want opinions on anything, just ask. XD.
