Something I wasn't expecting

It took longer to learn how to outline text in GIMP than it took to learn how to make screencaps into a gif in GIMP. The resulting gif of Alan Alda as Hawkeye Pierce twirling a cane is here on Tumblr. I know the quality is poor, but I accidentally chose just the right caps to make it look continuous. In the episode he does it for a few seconds, then stops, then starts again, and the last cap I picked was just when he stops.
